| The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), formerly known as the National
Association of Life Underwriters (NALU), is a 110-year old national nonprofit association, representing
nearly 75,000 licensed life, health and property-casualty insurance agents throughout the United
States. An advocate for insurance agents and consumers, NAIFA plays a vital role in encouraging legislation to protect policyholders and maintain a healthy and well-regulated insurance marketplace. The NAIFA umbrella organization includes a Division of Financial Planning and three specialty conferences: the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU), Association of Health Insurance Advisors (AHIA), and GAMA International.  |
